absolutely loved our stay there! it feels like it s waaaay up there eventough it's just an 8 mins drive... but once you are up there all you hear are the birds, you look over the beautiful town of Levanto and it's waters, you are surrounded by beautiful nature! breakfast is amazing, they even cooked eggs the way we wanted them, the rooms are awesome, very romantic. if you are looking for super fancy and modern, this place is certainly not for you. it's got a real nice homey feeling! enjoy!

This B&B is clean, beautiful, and quiet with a wonderful and helpful staff! It is in the small hillside town of Dosso - not on the beach but don't count it out because it is within driving distance of several beautiful beaches and has a free car park! We stayed two nights and wanted to do some hiking on the nearby Cinque Terre trails, the friendly staff who lucky for us spoke very good English helped us plan by indicating places to park and how to get to the start of the trails as well as recommendations for restaraunts. The breakfast that was included in the room price was delicious and plentiful plus it was served on the terrace overlooking the hillside with beautiful views of the coast and nearby Levanto!! There was a computer in the common area for internet access and local wines for sale. We've been home two weeks and I have thought about this place countless times - I am determined to go back some day!!

Loved staying at L'Antico Burgo. The village of Dosso consists of a few medieval houses on the side of the mountain. The bed and breakfast is in the biggest house. Carlo Pilottis mother started the business and it is now run by Carlo, his girlfriend Lynda and assistant Angela. They all speak very good English and made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed . The room was beautifully appointed and the beds were very comfortable. The details showed that a woman with excellent taste was involved in setting up the business. The whole area is surrounded by olive groves and vineyards. Breakfast consisting of cold cuts, homemade breads and cakes,jams and marmalades,and excellent coffee was served out on the balcony overlooking the hills sloping down to Levanto. The location was convenient for touring the Cinqueterre area. A car is necesssary, if you stay here.

I don't like sayin it's the "worst", but of all of the hotels, this one was my least favorite only because the distance from the beach and the centre of town.After 1 night we moved to the very nice Hotel Stella Maris.
