I decided to book this hotel for a 5-days break with my mum bacause two colleagues had already been there before. Fortunately they had told me in advanced that the hotel is diveded into two parts: the main hotel building with easily accessible rooms and a separate building up the hill, so I asked in advance for a room in the main building.
I was overall satisfied with my experience in Ischia, but would not choose the same hotel again.
What i really liked of it was the in-house spa: every morning after breakfast mum and I used the spa for massage and jacuzzzi and then off to different beaches everyday.
The room was very modest and small but what was really annoying was the rudeness of the owners. My mum is very competent about fresh fish and complained with the maitre about the fact that frozen fish had been served to us for dinner...we had abviously expected fresh fish in a hotel in Ischia. The maitre told us to speak with the hotel manager/owner who just told my mum "Aw you don't understand anything about fish".
My mum was furious.
The location is stunning, though quite far from the main Ischia attractions. The bus system though is quite efficient and the bus stop literally outside the hotel door.
