Friendly, charming hotel in the nice little town of Forio. The hotel is very clean and feels very Italian inside with plenty of marble and tiles. Front desk reception staff are especially nice and helpful and assisted in everything from crockery for our rooftop picnic to retaurant recomemndations. Speaking of the rooftop, the jacuzzi on top of the hotel is a nice touch with incredible views to be had whilst you soak up the bubbles. Location is ideal, just at the end of the main shopping street so everything is within a couple of minutes walk. Finally, don;t miss the party 'train' which stops right outside the hotel. I defy you to spend a more entertaining 20 minutes!

If you are visiting Forio, Ischia & looking for a hotel, Nettuno is a good choice. Kind & helpful staff, the location is great (basically on a main street), view's are breathtaking. Breakfast was ok.
We stayed there last week & it was amazing. The Jacuzzi on a top of the roof was like cherry on top of the cake. Simply wonderful!

For anyone visiting the island of Ischia we would recommend staying in the town of Forio and particularly at the Hotel Nettuno. The decor is immaculate, the rooms spacious with balconies, the continental breakfast substantial, the staff friendly and the service excellent. The male receptionsist was particularly helpful in guiding us about buses, ferries, places to see and restaurants. We would thoroughly recommend the Nettuno as it so well located near the beaches and just a minute or two from the bus stop and the main street. The Nettuno also has a sister hotel called the Tritone which is a 'terem' or spa hotel right on the beach with fabulous indoor and outdoor pools, gardens and terraces and they will shuttle you there free in low season when we went or for a modest charge in high season. It is well worth a visit and everyone will enjoy the warm spa pools. There are lso any number of treatments available too. The whole Nettuno experience was an extremely pleasant one and we can also thoroughly recommend the La Tannaia restaurant they directed us to as the food is wonderful and affordable. We ate there every night in our 4 day stay. The restaurant is full of Italians which is always a good sign. We would recommend the Hotel Nettuno to anyone. Denis & Gillian of Surrey

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, the hotel right around the corner from town, perfect for an evening walk to find nice restaurants and shops. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel that takes you straight to one of the best mineral spas on the island, and the hotel provides you with discount coupons as well. Breakfast was simple, but delicious. The room itself was small, typically European, but with an excellent view of the ocean. The only problem we experienced was a strange banging noise during and after a storm hit overnight. Turns out it was an umbrella from the rooftop that had gotten loose. The heated indoor pool was small, but with relaxing massage jets. I would easily stay there again.
