“Fantastic holidays with a baby!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 January 2012

This was our first time on Ischia and with our 8 months baby. It was really wonderful! In our appartments (Mandarancio) we felt like in a private house, we almost didn't see other guests of the villa. There is enough space in the appartments, but due to sunny weather we mostly spent time in a terrace, where we put a small swimming pool for a baby and soft floor to crawl. Rooms are basic, but very clean and you can find there everything necessary.
It's easy to travel on the island with a baby as there are slopes (not stairs). We could find food market and supermarket in 5 minutes from villa. Beach is about 20 min from villa. And it's sandy and perfect for children. You can rent sun chairs and parasol or you can use a part of beach without it. Also we could get in 10 minutes to very good and not expensive restraunts.
Special thanks to hosts - Mimmo and Maria Luisa - they are wonderful! They treated us as a part of their family and we very helpful!
We are dreaming of coming back again...

“This is our third time on the Island and we will always return”

We will always return to Villa Maria Luisa. This was our third trip and we are already saving for summer 2012. The Villa is perfect and Fiorentino Family are the best of hosts. They help guide you to the best places to see on the island and make sure your stay is comfortable. From the Villa you are a very short walk to town, beaches, ferries to Capri and Amalfi for day trips. You can take buses to any part of the island or rent scooters. The island is perfect for both families, couples or young people traveling. The cost is much better than Capri or Amalfi and the island is just as beautiful. The Villa provides a beautiful place for you to relax and recharge for wonderful activities and sites to explore. Mimmo Fiorentino is there to help guide you the best places to see, eat and shop. We will always return to Villa Maria Luisa for our family vacations and beyond.

“A stay in paradise”

Our all-girl party of 7 stayed at Villa MariaLuisa in June 2009 in two adjacent apartments and we absolutely loved it! Actually, we are thinking of coming back in the future. The apartments are basic but clean and cozy , have well-equipped kitchens and amazing outside space with lemon and orange trees all around. The apartments are very close to the center of Forio, yet very private and quiet.
The owner, Mimmo, is very charming and helpful. He is always there should you need him, but he never invaded our privacy. The price was also very affordable. All in all, although this is definitely not a 5-star accommodation, there was absolutely nothing to complain about. We could not have asked for more!

“Apartments encircled by mediterranean garden”

We have spent a splendid vacation in the chalet of the villa, it's characteristic and has the beautiful view on the garden. The Villa is right in the center and we move on foot, even if there is an optimal service of bus! We have visited "villa the Mortella" one splendid garden of English property with president Charles of England, the magnificent "church of the Soccorso" and its only sunsets, the romantic "sant' angel", a little Capri. The villa is close at all we go on foot for the characteristic ways of the island, in little time we arrive to all beaches, particularly at the "bay of citara" where is a place unique at world "poseidon thermal garden", with over 20 hot water swimming pools, the thermal water of Ischia is wonderful and perhaps it true that has divine virtues; we have visited the "bay of sorgeto" where are free hot water sources without to pay. Truly beautiful. Two times we have taken the boat that departure from the port close the villa and have gone to Capri for a complete day, the second time to Positano and Amalfi, two beautiful days, it is incredible as many places can be seen beautiful without never to take the car and walking always on foot. The owner Mr.Mimmois very hospitable, has advised to an optimal Pizzeria in the center "La strambata" where we have eaten a delicious napoletan pizza, restaurant "ciccio" on the port, reccomend the "linguine of Ciccio", has offered an optimal "wine novello ischitano" Think that we will come back every year and perhaps in October of this year, we are not visit to see all the island, and the thermal baths have made me truly well, i'm resurected. Ischia in May is wonderful and has excellent quality of life, has the quality of a lively place. Our enthusiasm for Ischia seems to be infectuous. We now have friends that are looking into going
