This property is a 5 minute drive from Tropea and a 10 minute walk to the beach. It is very clean and comfortable and the staff goes out of its way to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. I rented an apartment for a week and enjoyed my time there immensely. I wished that I could have stayed longer and hope to return someday. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

We stayed here for a week with our teenage children. The hotel was fresh and clean. Setting is nice. Best of all is the friendly professional service delivered by Stephanie and her family that really makes you feel weöcomed and looked after. We'd sure go back again.

We really enjoyed the Tirreno which is a very well appointed and well run family hotel. it has pretty much everything on site, with a good restaurant and the staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful,
Our room was very small, which is not unusual in Italian hotels, but had everything, including a balcony. It's because of the size that the rating is a four.
We'd stay there again.

The hotel is in a very quiet and relaxing area, just a few hundred metres outside of the local village and also close enough to walk to Tropea if you're up for it. The hotel beach is also within walking distance, but it's a fairly steep climb on the way back.
The service and amenities were very good, nothing lacking. The highlight however is the very well presented pool area and in particular the friendliest and most helpful lifeguard we have ever come accross.
Overall a very nice stay, very relaxing and very good value for money.

The rooms are very clean and spacious and the hotel is close to Tropea and the beach.
However we found the service not to our standard.
Firstly we had to try and find the breakfast room, we were not told where it was, there are no signs. Secondly we were specific about needing WI FI and had stayed here for one night the previous week with no problem.
Same request was made on this occasion. We could not get access from this room and after wasting time decided to ask for our former room. The receptionist explained we would not be able to access WI FI as our room was too far away.
It would have been useful if we were told this when we requested access and not waste time. Otherwise our stay has been comfortable. A little more personal attention to the patrons would make this an outstanding place to stay. If we return to this area we will most likely stay elsewhere
