“Huge Room and Excellent Service!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 August 2010

We booked this hotel on Hostelbookers for around 23 euros per night (which is super cheap in peak season). From day one, the owner and his wife were extremely helpful. We were picked up from the port and given a mini tour around Naxos town. They also helped us to arrange motorbike hire, and dropped us off at the airport on our way home.

The rooms are very large, with private bathroom and a small kitchen. Our room had 1 single bed and a double bed, as well as a small balcony. The kitchen came equipped with a fridge, cook top, pots and pans, and basic crockery and cutlery.

Bathroom was quite basic and a little worn, but clean. The room was quiet at night. The hotel is situated opposite a restaurant, so rooms at the front may be a little noisy, but there is double glazing. Beds were on the hard side, but comfortable. There is an in room safe (key operated), and a small TV.

Location is great - 5 mins walk to the main square. There is no pool, but guests can use the pool at their sister hotel (Korali Garden).

I would definitely recommend this hotel if you're on a budget.

“Great service, very nice at a good price”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 June 2009

We booked at the Korali Hotel for a budget two night stay in Naxos and had a very difficult time locating the hotel after we arrived on the ferry. Completely unable to identify this unsigned hotel after repeated efforts, we wound up for directions (Twice!) at the co owned Korali Palace where they decided to move us.
When we did meet the owner we discovered that they offer free pickup (and dropoff) at the ferry if you ask ahead, which we should have done and may be why they don't realize how hard to find the Korali Hotel is. (The Korali Hotel is completely unmarked, standing at the locked completely unmarked front door I was unable to verify that it was indeed the hotel, the Korali Palace is better marked and their Korali Garden Hotel is well marked) The owner is kind, helpful and hospitable, the non english speaking wife was nice but communications weren't as good with our lack of Greek ability. Our two rooms both had baclonies, one had a poorly functioning AC but overall the value for the price was very good. Clean, good daily cleaning service, tiny stove and fridge in each room, overlooking a nice restaurant on a quiet side street, close to nice shopping/restaurants and 4 blocks from the beach, beautiful St. Georges beach, very gentle slope, beautiful sparkling clear water, great for small kids (The Korali is closer, block and a half)
Naxos town is nice, safe and reasonably priced, the many beaches are tremendous, we really enjoyed our stay here, better than Santorini to some of us. No breakfast, lots of small shops nearby to pickup breakfast breads and items. WiFi was free and worked great. Safe pleasant family oriented residential side street with the owners kids out playing, nice. Parking was possible for our rented scooter with no problems, if you had a car parking could be an issue. Furnishings were simple but adequate, the island of course is the real draw. Rent a scooter and explore the beaches south of town.
Would definitely stay here again and a great deal for the price.

“Great Service for a Great Price!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 August 2008

We loved this hotel! Good sized room, AC worked nice (it was hot!) Great location close to beaches, town center and Old Town. Our room was cleaned everyday, and the staff was extremely helpful with all of our questions and requests.

The room had a small kitchenette, sink and fridge. There's a grocery store down the street, which was great for keeping snacks and drinks in the room.

I would definitely book this hotel again for our next trip to Naxos!

  • Liked — The attentiveness of the staff, they really were GREAT
  • Disliked — I really have no complaints, some may think the bathroom is small, but it didnt bother me.
