We arrived via Blue Star Ferries. There were cabs there that took us to the studio. It was a little bit difficult to find the entrance - we were dropped off in front of the spa part of the studio, but around the corner is where we checked in. There was information about tours, but you have to go the day of into to town to see what days the tours are (this was in high season too). We didn't end up going on a tour. We spent a day on the beach, another day we walked to Naxos town and from there we took a bus to Prokopios beach. Agios Georgios beach is really really clear and calm, and shallow for hundreds of feet. The area near the studio has several restaurants, but Naxos town is about a 10-15 minute walk (with some uphill/downhill). In Naxos town (hora) there are lots of shops, restaurants, and even some places with tvs with large screens for watching games/having a drink. It's a port city, with boats docked, and lots of night life compared to
The owners were nice and very helpful. Since it was a studio, and we only stayed 3 nights they didn't clean our sheets but they told us ahead of time. They say the clean the sheets/towels every 2-3 days. The studio comes with a stovetop, medium-small fridge, pots, plates, silverware in a small kitchenette area. There's also a small balcony, but we didn't have much of a view, just of the pathway leading to the beach. It wasn't that busy even though it was high season, but my grandma says that the area was built up a lot since she was last there a few years ago. The studio has a large dresser closet, desk, and also internet. At the end of the visit they called a cab driver to come pick us up to take us to the port.
