This is a really lovely place to stay - very clean, quiet (mid-May 2011) convenient location. We'd go back in a flash. George and his Mama are a great team and will make you feel very, very welcome. They're lovely people, always smiling and very kind.

We had a super time in the wind mill. Room where more then okay. Fridge was a good extra and that you could cook. Really staying there again some time..

The place is a very good place to stay at. Good rates for travelling in September. Very kind welcoming.

Windmill Studios are a five minute walk from both Ag. Georgios beach and Naxos town main square.

This accommodation initially impressed me with the promptness and efficiency of their direct online booking system which is a real rarity in the Greek islands. A confirmation email was sent immediately, followed by a personal email from the owner, George, offering me the free port pick-up on arrival.

George picked us up at the port and showed us to our room. It was exceptionally well cleaned on arrival and the room continued to be cleaned every day of our stay. Our double room had fridge, TV, air con, balcony and small bathroom. The safety deposit box in the room was also free of charge. The bathroom was of the handheld shower/plug in floor variety which is fairly standard in Greece. The furnishing and decor of the room was fairly basic, yet modern, well maintained and very clean.

If you are looking for a good family run hotel with a great location and high standards of cleanliness, I would recommend Windmill Studios. At 50 Euro per night for a double room in high season, I found the price to be very competitive compared to similar accommodations on Naxos.
