I spent 2 weeks in Naxos Holidays Hotel and I must say that I didn't find it so bad as pictured in the other comments here.
The room was essential in the furniture as it often happens in Greece, but very clean. Bed linen and towels changed very often (every 3 days).
There was a tv set, a fridge and a air cond, the latter was a bit noisy though.
The only disappointment was very small balcony and bathroom.
Breakfast was essential too, but they never starved us!
The swimmingpool was clean although we never used it.
The reception was always attended both day and night and the staff always polite. Some of them also speak Italian.
We had a car so we have always driven into town, but for less lazy people than us, the Chora (Naxos town) is at a walking distance, as for Agios Georgios beach.
The hotel is located on the street from Agia Anna/Agios Prokopios to Chora, but the traffic isn't too noisy and there's a handy supermarket nearby.
This is not an hotel "de charme" or romantic, it is functional and no frills, and it is good for basic travellers who use it as base camp to explore the island.

My agency from Rome have reserved me 4 star hotel in Naxos. When i arrived, and they give me a room, hot, little with dirthy kitchen, bathroom without window and ventilator i claimed with the receptionist for change my room, but she said that there were others rooms under the level of the street. No bar in the hotel and also the bar in the pool is always closed. The service was so bad, so that i often don't have my breakfast. don't go in this hotel.

We have never stayed at Naxos Holidays, but we were planning to stay there. We have had emailcontact and their prices kept on changing. When we said something about it, their reply was to go find a youth hostel! Not very polite, not something you would expect of a big hotel like this. Well we wont go their anymore.

When we arrived there was no receptionist on duty, and we were met by a fellow tourist who said she had gone to another property (this is one of several hotels in the area that are used by large tour grouops). After about 30 minutes wait, she returned, and we were shown to a room with no windows and at ground level. The only way to get daylight into the room was to open the shutters to the small patio. We complained and were moved to a much better room on an upper level with a nice balcony.

The hotel is on a busy road, but the rooms are reasonably quiet. The beach is about a 10 minute walk away (you have to cross the road first). A car or taxi is necessary to reach the Old Town area.

Naxos is a great island and very interesting--well worth a visit.
