a spotless, neat little hotel, with a beautiful garden, pool, and a view out back over fields and the distant mountains. The rooms - and beds - were comfortable, with kitchenette, safe in room, air conditioning, and a bowl of fruit to welcome us. The patio out front was roomy and pleasant, although out the front door and overlooking a small street, so we preferred to go sit by the pool. The hotel is situated on the edge of town, but is only a short walk from a pretty good beach with an equally appealing taverna right by water's edge. if you find a five minute walk too much, you can collapse into a beach chair for a Kafes or a Mythos beer. We walked to and from Naxos town via that beach most evenings we were there, about a 15-20 minute walk, so not too far to all the action. But what made our stay memorable was our hosts, who welcomed us like family. What more could you ask for? I'd go back in a hearbeat.
