We stayed in Villa Kelly for 7 nights from 28th July 2008. The owner Kelly, picked us up from the port at 5.30am, when our boat arrived. Considering the hour we found this service fantastic. On the drive to the villa, kelly explained lots of things about the island and offered to drive us around the next day to show us the sights. Again, another exceptional service.
The room that we were given was very spacious and had a large veranda space outside with two sunbeds, a table and chairs. No sea view but we did have a lovely view of the mountains and countryside.
Inside, the villa was split into two rooms, bedroom with double bed, wardrobe, dressing table. Had an ensuite bathroom, with small shower.
The living area, had a small kitchen annex with fridge and sink with two cooker rings. The livingroom itself had a couch, chair, TV, table and chairs and air conditioning.
Considering the money 350euros, i found the apartment to be charming and traditional. It is set back on a rough country road but once you get your bearings you can walk to st george's beach in five minutes and into the naxos town itself in ten minutes. Inside the apartment, Kelly has written instructions on how to get to both of these, it is very though! There is also a supermarket and bakers within easy walking distance from the apartment and buses to st prokopios, st anna and plaka beaches can all be caught opposite the bakers.
All in all, we found the apartment ideal for our use, nice and quiet for sleeping and close enough to beach and main town.
We found Kelly very friendly and she speaks excellent english so communication wasn't a problem, she even took us to the port on departure.
I would recommend Villa Kelly if you are looking for a nice clean, quiet, traditional apartment.
