Stayed two nights. Location is nice - in the Bourgos area, relatively quiet at night, with some activity during the day from local people going about their business, nothing like the crowded tourist-heavy seafront area. Spacious room, satellite TV, big wrap-around balconies in some rooms with mostly town views (and a glance at the sea from the side), Naxian-style furniture (somewhat dark-colored, sort of Italian 'Venetian' feel), comfortable bed, small but decent bathroom & shower (although, like most showers in Greece, floor tends to get soaked all throughout when taking a shower, so need to wipe yourself or deal with wet feet in middle of night when using bathroom). Was there on off-season (early May) so very few guests, but front desk staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast good - boiled egg, plate of yoghurt, coffee, juice, excellent local honey, fresh bread the owner went out and got for me the morning I arrived. A good choice if you don't care about having a direct seaview (which you can have at a beachside hotel if that is the priority). Good location to explore the town, catch ferries (port is 5 minutes away) and various supermarkets, pharmacies, etc. all within a short walk. Doors have pneumatic spring-loaded mechanisms on the inside to prevent them from slamming when closed - a very nice touch, wish all hotels had this! Worst thing about hotel stays is the guest who comes back at 12am and lets the door SLAM shut, not having consideration to at least close it quietly for guests already back and sleeping! This hotel avoids that problem cleverly. Would stay again.
