We had to book this hotel last minute after a cock up with our legoland booking.
With a new season opening oflegoland it was the only one available. We were
charged 130 euros for a twin room. When we arrived at the car park it was a
token system for the night with a charge of 12 euros. We arrived at midnight and
were leaving at 8am so seemed a bit of a stealth charge for an empty car park.
When we arrived they had no notification of the booking and then that we needed
a bed for a child ( and wanted more money for a triple room) so kept us waiting
with a 6 year old for 15 mins as the receptionist shouted at some one on the
phone.
We went straight to bed, the room and corridors were totally soulless prefab
grey polyripple, moulded faded beige plastic shower tray and bathroom fittings.
Room was very dry even with the window open, i got up inthe dark parched with
thirst and had a glass of the complimentary water on the desk, only to find a
nice 3.00 euro price tag around the neck in the light of the morning.
Add to that an additional charge i think of 10 euros approx per person for
breakfast.
Hideous stealth charges which left a bitter taste in our mouths for a mediocre
hotel with rude behaviour from the night receptionist.
