After not being able to find accommodation in La Rochelle, we took the gamble on this little hotel on the Island just off La Rochelle. We hit the jackpot!!! the hotel has just been renovated, it is both charming and the location you could not ask for a better position. Only 20 mins into the old city of La Rochelle. Our surprise was the island, there was so much to explore. The staff of the hotel were fantastic, will to help with any question you may have. The hotel has recently been renovated, it is gorgeous, yes the rooms maybe small but you are only there to sleep there is too much to do not only around the island but at the hotel as well. The attached restaurant is pleasant, though the cost of breakfast at 12 euros each was a little disappointing for what was on offer.
Parking was 10 euros a day but your car is secure.
I would recommend this hotel if you are looking for the perfect place to stay.

Beautiful and easy little place - nice rooms and a very good resto. a bit load on the street, but wasn't really an issue. great ocean view and oysters!

This was our last stop on our return journey following from Gran Canaria after the ash cloud grounded us. We chose at random and found an absolute gem. A terrific hotel with very friendly staff who made us most welcome. Great rooms, Nothing too much trouble. Look forward to returning - on purpose next time.
