spent a couple of days in the ardennes with the family while touring europe.
was looking for a hotel with a quad room which was challenging in this area and they had one so we took it and wasn't disappointed.
not cheap, but at 200 euros for room and breakfast (for FOUR) it was reasonable for the area and summer high season
had a junior suite on the top floor with a king bed and pull out queen sofa which was fine
service in hotel good, not great
location central
restaurant exceptional (although not cheap). they have two, a lower-end cafe in front and the higher end fancy restaurant in back, which we decided to try to give the kids an 'experience' which wasn't disappointing. the maitre'd was excellent and really took care of us, although the young 'kids' who were primary servers were eager but inexperienced and not 'on top' of basics like keeping wine and water refilled etc, but the maitre'd stayed in charge and made it work. my teenager ate the 'fancy' multi-course gastronomique menu and very much enjoyed and the he took care of the 'baby' (10 years old) with a steak and fries and various things to try. well worth the expense
breakfast, on the other hand, quite mundane. ran out of croissants and flies all over meats and cheeses.
overall, if you need a quad, good choice but i don't know what the other local hotels are like for standard rooms.
town of durby itself isn't much, but the surrounding countryside is wonderful to explore (although don't expect any english spoken, or many if any american tourists!) but people quite helpful. really enjoyed our time in Dinant and La Roche en Ardennes
