When we arrived, we were earlier than check-in time, but since we were arriving in Granada to do some work early that morning, we had called ahead and confirmed we would be able to leave our luggage there for safe-keeping. The man on the phone was really nice, but when we arrived early in the morning to leave our luggage, the woman at the front desk was really rude about us leaving our things, as if it was a huge inconvenience for her. She made a really bad first impression.
Beyond the first impression, however, the hotel was beautiful. Our room was large with very large, comfortable beds and air conditioning. The room was very, very clean. The shower had phenomenal water pressure.
The only complaint was that at night, you could hear bats squeaking rather loudly in the ceilings, and we were worried at first that they might have been in our room, but they weren't. Beyond that, the street wasn't noisy at night.
They also offer breakfast in the morning, and it was really good. You have a choice of typical Nica breakfast of gallo pinto, eggs, and toast, to options of omelets and pancakes. Good variety.
The hotel is also located very close to anything you could want to see/do in Granada! Right across the street from good restaurants like Tele-Pizza and Kathy Waffles and just about a block away from the main park.
