This was a nice hotel, probably one of the better ones on the island. The staff was very accommodating and we always felt well treated. We traveled with our 2 year old daughter. A very good beach for her; no waves and very shallow for the first 30-50 meters into the ocean. The "child-pool" was a bit too deep.

We stayed in one of the villas. We first got a room on the ground floor, but the mosquitoes literally ate us up which was a real pain. (We could not use our terrace at all). We changed room to the 2nd floor after a few days and things got better.

If we come back we will go for one of the ordinary rooms and make sure we get one on the third floor. I don't really think we got any significant extra value by staying in a villa.

Restaurant was expensive
Breakfast served almost the same food every day.

This resort set up some 5 years ago is a cosy small set-up resort. a Swimming pool is (semi) surrounded by hotel room 2 stories up. ( ground,1 and 2nd). Opposite there is the restaurants and coffee shop.
The resort has access to a private beach, with massage ladies and deck chairs,
During the evening the hotel caters a big barbecue with the catch of the day. We had arranged to have our table on the beach while the food and drinks where served there. Then this place is really a beautiful spot.

I travelled to koh chang with my bf last october. The moment we arrived at the entrance of the hotel, we were wowed by the interior. greeted by the staff with warm smiles, welcome drinks were served and efficient check in was done. We were then guided to our room. It's fantastic! Exactly what I've always wanted - spacious, clean, elegant and natural based interior. Love the balcony with a great view of the pool, definitely a cool place to chill. This hotel is really one of its kind :) the location is perfect for us as it's between the most happening and secluded beach. The beach side massage was awesome! Very experienced masseurs and the price is only 250 baht per hour. It's convenient to travel to other beaches and restaurants are within walking distance. I guess what makes us conclude that it's the best hotel that we've stayed in thus far was really the value of money. hard to find other hotels in par with the quality and the rate that dewa offers.

A truly wonderful resort with good food, good service and a great spa. The pool side bar was a great place to sit back, relax and watch the sunset. The spa was a bit pricey but I don’t remember thinking that while I was there.
