A group of friends and I recently spent part of our summer vacation (we're teachers here in Thailand) relaxing at Oasis Koh Chang. We figured we would only spend a few days there, but we loved it so much that we spent almost an entire week! The bungalows are very affordable (about 6 USD per night), and although they aren't spacious, they are cute and come with a comfy hammock and an outdoor shower! Oasis is located up a small hill, which is actually nice because it takes you away from the party noise on Lonely Beach (yet it is still only a 5-7 min walk down to the bars if you are interested). The new owners are beyond friendly and their dogs are adorable. There is also a great lounge area at the hotel with a decent view and comfy mats to sit on. The food wasn't too bad either...we all especially loved the yogurt/fruit/muesli combo for breakfast! WELL WORTH A VISIT!!!!
