“The best offsite that we have had in some time now....”

This was my second trip to Aspen Adventure camp at Rishikesh, the earlier one was with friend and this time around I decided to take my team at Standard Chartered Bank for an offsite between the 3rd to 5th of Feb 2012.

The tents were nice, with clean beds and attached toilets. There was running water and electricity connection and the staff provided hot water on demand. The backdrop of the mountains was perfect for the offsite. We traversed back into our childhood, communicated as friends, competed fiercely and yet bonded together as a team. The program fulfilled its objectives and the series of physical activities aimed at challenging our limits truly hit the target.

The operations team led by Mr. Negi was exceptional and we never imagined a half hour training would be enough to give us the confidence to climb and rappel down an 80 feet cliff! The support staff was very helpful and the chef with his team was so good that the participants gave a standing ovation to the great food served to us.

Overall great venue and good choice! We were a group of 20 people and the stay at Camp Aspen was truly wonderful and we surely enjoyed every moment of it and we will definitely be back for more.

Special thanks to Shashank, Mr. Negi & Azad for all their efforts.

Enjoyed every bit of my stay at the camp. In this world its about people and good people are the essence of Aspen. Anuj, Azad, Ramesh, Rohit, Prasad, Bhandari and Sukran are a few to name. Thanks Pradeep for prompt arrangements. They were the ones who made our trip really memorable. I definitely recommend and also will visit again.

I visited the Aspen camp with 3 of my friends from 30th dec - 1st jan. Rafting Camp with Aspen Adventure was the best thing happened to us for a long time. Great hospitality accompanied with lots of activities in the camp made our stay the most memorable experience. Arrangements in the camped had surpassed our expectations. Looking forward to do camping again with Aspen Adventures.

“Flexible management, good location & tents, great food and fun activities”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 December 2011

I had stayed at Aspen Adventures Camp Natures Encounter in November 2011 with my family for 2 nights. I was very happy with the arrangements made by them.

Flexible attitude
--------------------
The most impressive thing about the guys at Aspen is that they are very flexible. We wanted to have an additional rafting session instead of doing rock-climbing and they readily agreed to it. Even in rafting, we wanted to do a particular stretch, which was different from what Aspen normally does. And they agreed to that too.

Despite our best efforts, we could not beat the Delhi traffic and reached the Camp only at around 5 PM on Day 1, thereby losing time to do a rafting session. Aspen took care of that the next day by organising an extended rafting session for us.

Guide
---------
Our guide, Ramesh, accompanied us everywhere we went. It was like having a personal guide for the group. We went for Ganga Aarti and visited a few temples with Ramesh being around to properly guide us.

Tents & Food
-----------------
The tents were spacious and clean. The food was good and tasted as if it was home-made.

Location
--------------
The location is an advantage as well as a dis-advantage. They are too far from Rishikesh city. Hence, one gets a really amazing wilderness experience. However, you are far away from the city if you want to do anything like visit temples, go shopping or simply take a stroll.

Rafting
---------
The rafting activity seems to be outsourced to some other agency. This is an area which could be improved upon.

Conclusion
---------------
Aspen is a really amazing place to be in if one is looking for a wilderness experience with a personal touch. The flexible attitude of the staff goes a long way in making the trip enjoyable. However, if the primary aim of visiting Rishikesh is rafting, then other options may be considered.
