We just stayed at the Hampton Martinsville this weekend because we attended a wedding in the area. I have to say, it was a wonderful place. I was told the hotel was recently renovated and under new management. It looked brand new! Very clean, extremely friendly staff. We had a problem with an odor in our bathroom and were promptly moved to another room. The complimentary breakfast was fantastic with lots of options. The public access computer wasn't working, but if you really needed the internet, you were promptly let into the business office to use their computers. It was very quiet at night, and the thermostat controlled rooms were very efficient. Had no trouble with temperature in our room. We had a large group staying at the Hampton, reserving 27 rooms for all the people coming in for the wedding. They gave us a great group rate! I would say, hands down, best hotel in Martinsville.
