Very clean and great staff. Room very updated. I liked the drive up rooms. Great Internet and it's free!

My stay here has been unreal, My family rolled into town Jan 23rd for a job relocation, We was forced into a situation to have to stay in a hotel with our family while waiting for our house, While nothing was said to us at all at checkin about a pet policy we was charged faithfully a pet deposit, The office attendant called me up rudely to tell us we needed to leave the premises immediately, I was floored. Just the day before another attendant told me it was fine we would not have to leave as we was being charged daily a pet deposit fee, we was ok with this until they started charging us a pet fee for 2 rooms. When I mentioned this. within an hour we was asked to leave one for our pets and the lady had the berve to tell me we complained to much..what?? we was being over charged and I was supposed to just let it fly .. not me. We had food thrown away, always had to locate someone for towels or toilet paper. The stay has just been a mess.2 of the three nights we was here was was constanly having trouble staying connected to the internet, each morning I had to go to the office to have them reset the hotel computer systems in order to get mine to work again. Very inconveniant. We are in the process of checking out now as I type this, but you better believe I wont be leaving here without getting a corporate number..

We came to Lynchburg to visit family for New Year's Day and spent two nights in this hotel. While it bills itself as non-smoking, each of the rooms still retains the familiar "20 years of smoke embedded in the carpet smell" to varying degrees. We also had a very unpleasant experience of having ice-cold showers one night. As one of the front-desk staff confided to me, their hot water system cannot keep up when the hotel is full.

In a town where there are plenty of brand-name interchangeable motels, I'd stay away from this one.

2nd night of 3 night trip and 2nd of 3 Best Westerns. This one was MUCH better than Gatlinburg but not quite the value of Winchester. This one had a helpful staff and the free breakfast was nice but average.
