This Super 8 leaves a good first impression! We paid an excellent price, and the front desk was really helpful. Our room was on the first floor and looked super clean. It wasn't until a couple of days into our stay that we noticed we weren't sleeping well and were very sore in the morning. By the fourth night, I woke up exhausted and sore. Friends of ours had the same problem, so they requested a different room and were given a room with a king-size bed and roll-out couch. The king-size beds are apparently much more comfortable than the double beds.
Breakfast was the typical continental breakfast with waffles you can make yourself, cereal, bagels (but no cream cheese--bring some!), muffins apple juice, and coffee. There's a Hardees close by, and they have a great breakfast! Days Inn also has a fabulous breakfast in the attached restaurant, but it would be a bit of a walk from the Super 8.
We decided that if we stay here again, we'll have to bring a bed topper to put on the beds or stay in a room with a king-size bed. If we had asked, I'm sure they would have moved us, but we had five people (two adults and three children), so I wasn't sure if they'd let us all stay in a king-size room. The rooms adjoin, so maybe they would have given us adjoining rooms. I should have asked!
Pets are allowed here, and we saw lots of dogs walking around! My kids loved that.
The exercise room was nice, too, my husband said.
One day they didn't clean the room, but they gave me extra towels at the front desk when I asked. They did a super job cleaning the next day.
All in all, I guess you get what you pay for!
Room Tip: Ask for a king-size room!
