3 friends and I took a long weekend to renew our friendship and enjoy some history in and around Lynchburg, Va. 1 lives in New Jersey and the rest live in North Carolina so this was a good meeting point. We try to get together annually.
Lynchburg Sleep Inn was a perfect place for us to stay.
We requested and got connecting rooms. Fun to leave the doors open (had to hold them with a chair, but it worked) and visit back and forth. After a day of touring, we could relax with a glass of wine and catch up.
I am so glad the Sleep Inn has sheets and blankets instead of the duvets! I hate those things! I can never get cool enough to have a good night's sleep.
Room was very clean and comfortable. Desk clerks were pleasant and helpful when we asked specfic directions or suggestions for eating.
Continental breakfast had waffles, french toast, sausage biscuits, etc.
Sleep Inn is not the Hilton, nor is it meant to be. It provides clean comfortable rooms at a fair price and that is exactly what we wanted.
