First, the high points for me:
The breakfast is no dainty bed and breakfast thing with a danish and three pieces of fruit. This is full on, fill you up until 4pm breakfast. And tasty too. Perfect if your plans for the day include tackling some of the great hikes in the area.
And, the hot tub. Again, perfect if you spent the day hiking.
If you are a vegan traveler, or vegetarian--no worries. Let them know in advance and you will be pleased.
I don't think I've ever stayed at a place that was cleaner than this. If you're fussy at all about cleanliness you will have no complaints.
This is a complete apartment with a full kitchen and two bedrooms, flat screen tv and satellite dish. If you are looking for something rustic and high on the romance scale, maybe this isn't the first choice.
If you need a quiet and affordable place to relax and refuel between hikes this might be the place. I'll stay here again next time I come to hike The Priest and/or Three Ridges.
Thank you Chris and Susan.
