Just returned from another visit to the Inn at Meander Plantation, something I always try to plan to do when in Virginia on business. My accommodations this time, the Col. Fry suite, included a large, well-decorated bedroom with fireplace and sitting area, bath with top-shelf amenities including bath salts and a luxurious robe, and a second sitting area with desk. I was pleased to have free wi-fi for my iPad, and enjoyed a tour of some of the newly renovated accommodations at the property. Dinner included a choice of three entrees, and the full breakfast a choice of two entrees. The hospitality, as always, was awesome, and I enjoyed the opportunity there to truly relax before a busy workweek. We'll be back!

My wife and I recently stayed at the Inn at Meander Plantation in the Groomsmen Cottage. Our cottage was very nice with a comfortable bed and well finished bathroom. Our first night at the Inn at Meander Plantation, the temperature dipped down to the teens which resulted in it taking a bit of time to warm our cottage up. Fortunately we were able to borrow an additional space heater from the Inn Keeper, which made our stay much more comfortable. The grounds of this property are large and we would have liked to walk the grounds if it weren't so cold. We would definitely recommend visiting this in from spring to fall to fully enjoy the property. This property has close proximity to some great wineries. Additionally the breakfasts are very creative and the dinner that we had was very romantic.

We had a wonderful experience. Our suite was beautifully decorated. The queen bed was very comfortable with feather pillows. The sitting area had a comfortable couch and fireplace.
Our package included 3 course breakfast both mornings. It was outstanding. We were treated to a cooking demonstration for our appetizer by Suzi. This was followed by a 4 course dinner with wine tasting. The food was out of this world. The Inn has a great location being close to Montplier and Monticello besides many wineries are in the area. The owners, Suzanne and Suzi were friendly and accommodating. We would definitely go back.

I have stayed in many B&Bs and Inns. By far this was the very best. The inn was beautifully decorated for the holidays, warm, inviting, festive...The staff were friendly and helpful. Our cottage showed great attention to detail - from the fireplace and two-person jacuzzi tub, to the uber-comfortable, king sized bed, with soft, fresh linens. We had a lovely view of the local landscape from our bedroom window, and the room was delightfully quiet. I can't remember sleeping so comfortably anywhere else. Our dinner with wine-pairings featuring Virginia wines was well executed from start to finish and delicious, and we thoroughly enjoyed each morning's creative breakfast. I would come back in a heartbeat!
