How can you cancel someone's reservation if it is made weeks in advance?

My reservation was cancelled wen I arrived there. I had written confirmation from my company. The area has only two hotels, and luckily the other hotel had a room available!

There is no way you can cancel my reservation and rent it to others.

Also, the town has hardly anything!

Booked a stay at this hotel for 60 nights two months in advance. On the day of check in at noon I had a call from the hotel saying that they needed my credit card to charge me for my stay. Everyone traveling on orders knows you have to get a non available cert from lodging before you can stay out in town. I told them I would update my card online to hold the reservation anyway. I showed up an hour after check in began and no longer had a room. They gave my reservation away. The front desk associate had no idea what she was doing and there was no manager available. They put me in their last available room and charged me a higher rate. The room they gave me didn't even have a number on it. The floors were dirty, and it smelled smoky. There was sticky gunk all over the dresser. I was told that I had to be out of that room the following morning and that the manager would try to get me a room or give me back my reservation. I still haven't heard from them now nearly a month later. I also never got my priority club reward points from the stay. All in all it was a bad experience. Try the Comfort Inn Dahlgren. They've been good to me so far.

I travel frequently and whenever I stay at this hotel, I feel that my needs are the priority of the staff. They do everything possible to ensure that my stay is a pleasant one. The rooms are clean and the beds are very comfortable. I know that if I need anything, all I have to do is ask. Breakfast is good and well stocked. They always check to see if everything is okay. It's like a family run business. I look forward to my next stay at this hotel.

The Staff of this hotel was very helpful. She helped me with my luggage. I had never been to King George before so they gave me some suggestions with some good choices to eat. The lady that was vey helpful had blonde hair, but I forgot her name. The lobby really looked nice when i came in.. I was very impressed how clean the hotel is, and i would recommend it to anyone. The breakfast was really good. I really liked the eggs and the cinnamin buns.
