Great location by IAD. Business Lounge is well appointed. Rooms large, bathrooms spa like

Stayed here recently for a business trip. For the price the room was great, nice touch that I was upgraded to a Junior suite. The room had plenty of room and the bathroom was huge, also looked like it was recently updated. The TV had to be 55", nice and big. The room was clean and comfortable, although the climate control was outdated, not digital. Access to the executive lounge was also a nice touch, very friendly staff.

The only area of improvement would be the elevators, really worn down.

Overall this hotel was comfortable and relaxing, just needs a few areas of improvement.

I stayed two nights at this hotel, but with a twist which shows the convenience of this hotel.

This hotel is great for Virginians taking early morning flights - you can beat the rush hour traffic in the morning by spending the night and just catching the shuttle to the airport. On this trip, I had to fly to the West coast and then back on the red-eye. Luckily, my bed was waiting for my at 6am and I was able to complete my night of sleep without interruption from cleaning staff. The bed sure felt great after that travel, but it still felt great the night before.

I had a business class room, which has a large 42 inch TV which also has inputs for a laptop computer or other device wired into the wall over the desk. This room also had a huge bathroom with a deluxe shower. The water pressure was sufficient for the "jet" setting on the shower head to really work. Plus there was a second "sprinkle" head over top.

The only downside was that by arriving late, my request for a non-smoking King bed had gotten switched to a Smoking. room. They switched me to two doubles and offered to comp the internet (which I ended up not using anyway)

I've stayed before and found the rates on this trip to be almost double from my last trip, but my last trip was on a weekend, which typically has lower rates for hotels catering to business travel.
