I stayed here for business because there wasn't much in the area at the budget that my company had for me.
The clue should have been that I was the only car in the parking lot. The only folks I saw there were a few guys that obviously worked labor in the area.
Right across the street in a truck stop. Not a good location for a female solo traveler.
In the middle of the night, I felt a bite on my thumb. Thought I was dreaming. But it was such a big bite feeling that it woke me up and I couldn't get back to sleep again. I didn't see anything on my skin. So I started working on my laptop and felt something under me. I thought it was crumbs - but I hadn't eaten anything in the bed AT ALL. Then I pulled back the covers and all I saw was blood and HEARD this hug bed bug scratching at the covers to try to scurry away. It looks like an over sized lady bug.
I called Hotels.com and they called the hotel. I collected my stuff, got a refund and left. I should have also charged him for the pain killers and Epsom salt that I had to use to reduce the swelling.
I am not being malicious, but I want others to be aware of this place and management to do something about it. I know in India, that they may have a different standard of cleanliness than in the western world. But honestly, it has taken me weeks to sleep comfortably again because I often imagine the bugs crawling up my body. GROSS!!
