Due to a mistake by the admin assistant, I ended up staying here. The check in was quick and efficient, even at 11 PM at night. A bad traffic accident prevented me from getting here any sooner. I get to my room, which was barely adequate (tired towels, horrible sheets and let's not discuss the not so clean carpeting. I immediately turn on the AC as the room freshener smell was overwhelming. I unpack just enough to get me to bed, and head there. As I'm falling asleep, the phone rings at 12:15 AM, with the front desk telling me there were complaints about the noise coming from my room. REALLY??!! No TV, no radio, no cell phone discussion. Just me. I tell them I'm in bed and hang up the phone.
Next morning, I go downstairs after the breakfast service is finished. That's okay by me, I just wanted coffee and there was some freshly made. I grab a cup, open up my computer and start working. There are a couple of other people doing the same. Until the hotel employee comes through the room spraying lemon scented cleaner EVERYWHERE. On the counters, tables, air, carpet and all of us. Rather than get another headache, I left. I don't know how this place gets any ratings at all. Never again will I stay at a LaQuinta.
