This was our first stay at a Candlewood Suites, and we were very pleased with the room and amenities. Our suite was basically a fully-equipped apartment with full kitchen, living room, bedroom, and bathroom. This would be a very comfortable place to stay for an extended work or vacation visit. The staff was very friendly and made sure we were aware of all of the available amenities. We used the Business Center (although the Internet was slow the day we were there) and the little snack store they have on-site. They had a large library of DVDs available for check out. There is a large mall a block away with a number of restaurants. The hotel provided a long list of nearby restaurants with addresses and the offer to provide directions to any one we wished to go to. So often we have found hotel staff who cannot give directions anywhere so this was a real plus! The bed was very comfortable. The hotel was clean and smoke-free (in the areas we frequented). I highly recommend this hotel.

Budget wise perfect...

The room was wonderful and we had no problems with anything. We went to the race in Richmond and we spend three days at this hotel and the front desk people was really helpful and very nice. We will stay again when we go back to see the race. It was good having a kitchen in the room.

I had a great stay! The rooms were very clean not to mention beautiful. I also enjoyed the fact that they had flat screen t.v's and dvd players in the room! The only problem that I had was that the only curtains that you could close were sheer. Other than that I think its a great hotel.
