In the middle of no where this is about the best. Clean room good B-Fast & clean. Hopefully won't have to go back, but if I did, I would stay here!

The Hotel was clean and well kept. They were able to accomodate my need for a first floor room due to disability. However, we were shocked to find that we were already there and checked in when we arrived. Apparently having two families with a last name beginning with W arriving on the same day was too much for Charlie to handle. And he checked them in under our reservation, but fortunately under their credit card. Since there were more rooms available, it wasn't an issue, but I was pretty disappointed in the lack of attention to detail.

We stayed here for free with a Choice Privileges reward night. It is a little while off of I-77 / I-64 but it is well worth the 10 mile drive. The hotel was small and quiet. We had a late check in, but it was ready and we quickly got our room. They even had cookies in the lobby for us. The rooms were newly updated. The bathroom was renovated with a brand new sink, toilet, and bathtub. The bathroom also had a heat lamp. The sheets and pillows were new and very comfortable. There was a new microwave/refrigerator unit in the room. The staff was very friendly, and they definitely care about their guest's stay. There is plenty of room behind the hotel for outdoor activity with a basketball court, pool, and a gazebo. The breakfast included donuts, bagels, cereal, make-your-own waffles, milk, juice, coffee, and assorted fruits and cheeses. I would stay at this hotel again and I recommend it to anyone in the area.

There a not a lot of choices for hotels in the Bluefield area. That being said I guess this is one of the better properties, The hotel is around twenty years old, but they have done a good job of keeping is updated. It is two stories and if you don't want to carry your luggage up the stairs I would recommend you reserve a first floor room, as there is no elevator. I was also disappointed they did not have a business center. The lady at the front desk was helpful and suggested I go to the library to use their computer. She said there was no fee to get a library card. The room was a fair size and it did have a mini-fridge and microwave. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was a little small. There are no restaurants by the hotel, but you can drive a few miles and find a place to eat. Overall, this is a decent, clean hotel and considering the area not a bad place to stay.
