We had a smooth and easy late check in on Christmas Day to a wonderful suite for 5 of us who spent 10 hours in the car, for a reasonable AAA rate of $98. The young adults were motivated enough to use the exercise facility, and the full breakfast with 'make your own waffles' was the best we encountered on our vacation. The mattresses were very comfortable, and the whole Inn was kept very clean, and in the Holiday spirit. The only minus is very common in the industry: supplying 4 small bath towels for 5 adults. A beautiful area, away from the highway noise that plagues many franchises.

its not a five star hotel but it is a five star experience. Pricey but not any more than the other hotels in its class. You have to give kudos to a well run business that really knows how to take care of its customers/travelers ... even if it means upping the competition for hotel rooms during prime weekends :) This is our favorite place to stay while visiting Tech. From the hot snack at night, to the 24/7 beverage bar, to the strawberries in the AM breakfast spread to the comfortable and spacious rooms you can't go wrong. Its extremely clean and updated, comfortable, quiet, spacious, a great night sleep with nice beds and a good sized bathroom, flat screen TV you can watch from the sitting room or the bed/s, accommodates a whole family comfortably with the pullout couch and beds, really nice staff. We find the location very convenient. BTW the nearby gas station also has great prices (and decent snacks), at least compared to what we are use to.

We stayed here for a VT football home game weekend. The rates are about 4x what they are any other time, but that is to be expected for a football weekend. But, for $240/night it is looking a little worn. When we checked in, they put an additional $25 incidental charge on our cards. I thought that was a little tacky, but whatever. They have complimentary coffee, tea, etc 24 hr/day in the lobby. But when I inquired as to whether it was fresh, I was told it was a few hours old. But it was still better than the in room coffee, and so it was appreciated. The room was clean, the bed was comfy. My only complaints about the room itself was that we could not get the temp just right - it was too hot all weekend. Also the bathroom has the one switch for fan and light, VERY LOUD, and so I woke everyone up at about 4:30 a.m. The breakfast was very good. Lots of choices, friendly staff. You have to physically check out - no receipt under the door. But, again the staff was very friendly. And they have stacks of local newspapers - even on a Sunday - at the front desk for the guests to help themselves. Housekeeping during the stay could use some work - I don't they did anything but replace the towels, definitely did not even rinse out the bathtub. We'd probably stay there again, but maybe not for the $240 rate.

Stayed here when we took our son to a VT football game. Hotel is nice,staff very friendly, breakfast was standard hotel offerings. Location is great easy to get to campus & downtown area. Would definitely stay here again. we had a very enjoyable experience.
