This is a beautifully maintained old Vermont Federalist style home with a rich history in a cozy and historic Vermont town. The Inn keeper Holly was an unbelievably gracious host who makes the most magnificent breakfasts. She went out of her way to call around to the local restaurants for their hours of operation on our behalf while we were out canoeing the Connecticut River and had a hand drawn map prepared for us with their locations. she has loads of good recommendations of what to do in the local area and is within a very easy drive of Ascutney Mountain.

Having been three times in the past three years, we are excited to be going again in October. This is not your typical b&b! A gorgeous old home which has been renovated into a bed and breakfast by the current owners and holds lots of history in between, a history which the owners will gladly share with you. Holly is a fantastic host...she gladly spends the end of the day with you having a glass of wine or sends you off to her favorite restuarants. The living room with a nice fireplace is a great place to sit and relax with wine and snacks from local vineyards. The bedrooms are peaceful, each with a old stove fireplace, stocked with wood each night. One room even has writing on the wall from the children who first lived in the house. And you HAVE to check out Simon Pearce while you are there!!
