A really comfortable motel. We were made very welcome and had a clean, comfortable room with lots of curiosities! It was close to the road but not noisy. Wilmington was close enough to drive to for dinner and there were several good restaurants. Also, very reasonable priced.

We stay at "Mom & Pop" motels every so often, because we just get sick of the overpriced places with no personal touch (and bedbugs to boot). No, it's no frills. But the Vintage is very clean, has comfortable beds, and the owners are very accommodating. And, they take dogs, which is a definite plus for us! There was also breakfast - selection of cereals, toast, fruit, bagels - your basic continental - and the coffee was much better than the garbage you get in chain hotels.

Wilmington was hit very bad with the floods from Hurricane Irene. Go visit this fall, patronize the few businesses that are left, to support the village's recovery. And while you're there, stay at the Vintage.

I stayed here for one night only...it's a no frills motel but my main concern was that it was clean....and it was. The owners are a cute couple who will go out of their way for you. There is breakfast on weekends which was great but it could have used a bit more variety.

Okay this place is not located right in the downtown area of Wilmington, but it is very close. While the motel is not exactly stellar, it is a magnificent bargain. The room I had was very clean and well appointed. The bed was comfortable and there was a small tv, but it was sufficient. There was no in room coffeemaker, but there are a couple of good breakfast places in town. What can you expect for 55 bucks? I was shocked, because while the property was nothing special, it was a great place to stay for a night. If it's busy, it might have a different tone, but on the night I was there, it was relatively quiet.
