Two friends and I recently spent 2 nights here during a peak ski weekend. The hotel staff was incredibly helpful in getting us directions to shuttles to the mountain, which were direct and easy to find. Buses left frequently. The location at the bottom of the mountain had great views and was within walking distance of the Snow Barn, the resort's nightclub/bar.

Our suite was quite large with a pull out sofa and king bed. It was impeccably clean with a spotless bathroom. There was a microfridge and tv in each room. The hotel is older, and not very soundproof. We could hear every footstep upstairs and out in the hallway. In addition, we could not get the heat to turn down and resorted to opening a window (in February!) just to get to a comfortable temperature in the room.

I recently stay at the Snow Lake Lodge with a couple buddies on a ski trip. The location is great, You can drive or take the shuttle to the mountain which is really less than 2 minutes away.
We got a suite with a king bed and pullout sofa. The room is very basic, with TV, mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Clean with minimal furnishings.
They have a small outdoor hot tub and large indoor hot tub which was a nice end of the day amenity.
Breakfast was , bare with just breads and cereals as well as coffee and juice, but enough to get you going.
Overall we stayed mid-week and found the price to be a good value on a basic lodge with a friendly staff.

The place really isn't that bad.

Breakfast ( cereals, instant oatmeal, danish, bagels, bread, jelly, butter, toaster, coffee, juices etc)
Great location, view of the mountain, free shuttle to mtn.

Cons
Noisy, you can hear EVERYTHING in the hallway and in the floor above you (it's an old motel)
Closet doors broken
Small room, but we managed with parents and 2 teens
Draft window until we figured out how to fix it


I would stay here again, it's a great value. Sure it's not a total classy place by any means, but for the value and convenience I would stay here again!

I had written to central reservations with concerns about reviews written and basically was told its a 48 year old hotel, it has been renovated. Well, the only plus was my acutual room was clean, but the rest was down right disgusting. The hot tub was slimy, moldy, and not until being in it for 2 seconds could you see that...gave me a rash. Not enough towels, no soap, broken bed, absolutely the tinest hotel room I have ever seen. Breakfast was very limited and kind of stale and when I went to complain about things the man at the desk for on what seemed to be a personal call for nearly 10 minutes before acknowledging my presence. Free WII-FI, couldn't connect! NEVER AGAIN!
