The owners were friendly and gracious - everything you could want in a VT B&B. The hot breakfast was hearty - a perfect send off before hitting the slopes. There were fresh cookies and a roaring fire when we returned - very kid friendly. This is definite "go to" for future stays!

Brenda and Todd, the owners, were amazing. Everything from the 'surprise' in our room (our anniversary), to the overall cleanliness of the Inn, bedroom and bathroom... to the delicious breakfast - we were blown away. If you need ANY info on local attractions / dining - ASK THEM, they gave us excellent advice.

The new owners of the White Horse Inn have done a fine job in updating the furniture, carpets, bathrooms etc of this Inn that is located less than a half mile from the Mount Ellen (Sugarbush South) access road. The great/common room has a new wooden floor and the shelves are filled with interesting books and DVD's. We had a TV in our room but sitting in front of the fire with a snort of Drambuie was much more relaxing. Todd chatted with us for awhile about the inn and the fine art of clearing snow from the roof without taking a tumble - it's always nice to meet new people while traveling. After staying at several other bed & breakfasts where the diminishing enthusiasm of the owners is reflected in the inn itself, it was nice to see genuine concern about appearances and presentation.

You can not beat the location for skiing, close to Sugarbush . We took the family for a midweek ski break , the room was perfect, food was great, Brenda & Todd were welcoming, and the fire in the great room, so pretty. The place is clean and the beds are comfortable.
