My wife and I stayed for a weekend on a strong recommendation from a friend and we were not disappointed. Luke and Linda were terrific hosts and there was plenty to do. The atmosphere were was extremely laid back and relaxing. Our room (River Room) was cozy and comfortable and the breakfasts were spot on! Serious pancakes!! We took a pottery class with Luke on Saturday and had a lot of fun. I have already and would recommend the Wilder Farm Inn to anyone looking for a place to stay near the Mad River Valley.

This is a great, quaint, clean, charming VT B&B in an area without many great options. We stayed in the Millbrook I & II rooms, which share a private, but separate (slightly down the hall) bathroom. The bathroom is very roomy and nicely updated. Despite the inn being theoretically very fully booked, we didn't run into anyone in the hall the whole time we were there. Both rooms were beautiful and retained great charm despite being very fresh and updated. The beds were all very comfortable. Our kids loved the feather beds. Both rooms had electric heaters and were very warm and comfy.

The proprietors are both very friendly, though some of their policies might come off as somewhat restrictive (call if checking in after 7:00 pm, don't call after 9:00 pm, breakfast served for only 1 hr in the morning). None of this was a big deal for us, but worth noting that you're not staying at a full service hotel. Breakfast was very good.

Overall, highly recommended for a classic, VT B&B experience. We hope to go back again soon!

Beautiful house, relaxed atmosphere, fantastic hosts, amazing breakfasts and great chocolate brownies! Would definitely recommend.

My girlfriend and I stayed a few days at teh Wilder Farm Inn. The room was cozy, clean and the food was excellent. Unfortunately my girlfriend suffered an injury skiing. Luke and Linda could not have been more helpful. Very genuine, caring people.
