“Heavenly”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 January 2011

We enjoyed immensely our three night stay at the Apple Hill Inn. Our spacious suite above the garage had views in all four directions. Besides the comfortable
queen-size bed, we enjoyed a sitting area with wingback chairs which looked over the village of Taftsville to a stretch of the Quechee River and the wooded hills beyond.

Separated from the bed by a wall of books was a full kitchen with views of the garden and pasture. The rooms are all simply but tastefully decorated with contemporary prints hanging on the walls, hardwood floors with area rugs.

The innkeepers, Beverly and Andrew were warm and friendly. Beverly bakes wonderous
pastries including a Swedish pastry ring to live for and delicious stuffed French toast. She
and Andrew entertained my family with stories of their innkeeping experiences as well as
their previous careers. All of this and only three miles to the shops and restaurants of Woodstock, VT. My wife said, "This is my idea of heaven."

“Beautiful views, perfect room, and excellent hospitality”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 November 2010

My friend and I stayed here for a couple of nights and wish it could have been much longer. The taste and furnishings of the home are superb, and the views from the deck are so beautiful. We stayed in the room with a full kitchen and, as much as we enjoyed exploring Woodstock and Quechee, could have hidden out in the room as well. We did for some of the time with great wine and cheese from the Taftsville General Store - an easy drive or even walk from the room. Beverlee, the owner, is so welcoming and a lot of fun. I keep telling my husband he must experience this place and can't wait to return.

“Truly excellent!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 November 2010

Our recent stay at Apple Hill Inn was truly a five star experience!
Our room was beautifully appointed and spotlessly clean.
The linens were luxurious and the bed comfortable.
Andy and Beverlee were consummate hosts. They were so warm and hospitable and attentive.
Breakfast was incredible--gourmet quality, extravagant portions, all piping hot and beautifully presented.
The Inn's location is perfect--close enough to dining and activites but tucked away in a country setting that is so peaceful and restful.
We said good-bye to our hosts regretting that we didn't live close enough to enjoy their friendship throughout the year!
It was simply a wonderful experience and we'll look forward to a return stay.

“Beautiful Getaway”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 November 2010

We would highly recommend Apple Hill Inn to anyone looking for a wonderful getaway! Our innkeepers, Beverlee and Andy, were most gracious hosts! They were warm and welcoming, and provided us with a home away from home with a quiet and very relaxing atmosphere. Beverlee's wonderfully fresh breakfasts were delicious, and we enjoyed them with a wonderful view as well. The Paradise room has picture windows on 3 sides to enjoy the fall foliage, with a sitting area and kitchenette. We enjoyed the spacious room for our week-long getaway. The room is nicely furnished. Apple Hill Inn is between Woodstock and Queechee, out of the hustle and bustle, but close enough to dining, shopping and attractions.

“One of a kind”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 October 2010

Apple Hill Inn was my favorite B&B on our trip to New England. It is a beautiful home which sits on top of a lush green hill overlooking their barn, Taftsville covered bridge, and hills full of fall colored trees. It is minutes outside of Woodstock. It was such a great surprise for us. Our room was beautifully decorated, the bed so comfortable, and the view unbelievable. We had access to the great rooms to relax and enjoy our stay. One glassed-in room is huge with unbelievable views in all directions. The covered patio with wind protection would be an awesome room to host an event. The breakfast was extensive…from eggs to crepes to warm biscuits to fresh muffins to cereal…we wanted for nothing. All this was wonderful but the best is yet to come. The innkeepers Beverlee and Andy were one of a kind. So friendly and inviting. I wish we could go back. One night was not enough.
