We took a long time to decide on the Topnotch Resort - partly because the name put us off and partly because we wanted to be closer to the ski slopes. Anyway, not being willing to pay $1000 per night to be next to the slopes, and getting over our snobbiness about the name, we booked the Topnotch.
I have stayed in many hotels but this is by far the friendliest ever - if directions were needed within the hotel, someone would take you, nothing was too much trouble. The shuttle bus to the slopes was a private MPV, and from the receptionist to the chambermaid, I have no complaints.
The spa was lovely - both in its setting, choice of treatments and delivery of treatments.
My only niggle (not a complaint, more a slightly negative comment!) is that the bed was very bouncy and I was worried I would fall out.
I am looking for an excuse to go again.
