Stayed there and will do so again! It has been our fifth stay in this hotel. We usually go for a few days in January and again in March. Hotel is quiet, staff is friendly, and they offer discount tickets to Bolton Valley Ski Resort. Ends up quite a deal! Breakfast is more than plenty and the pool and exercise room very clean.

We spent three weeks at the Green Mountain Suites over the Christmas holidays. It is an excellent choice, especially if you are traveling with a pet. The suites are spacious, the bed is excellent, bathroom is large, and there is an excellent laptop/work area. WiFi is quick. The staff is outstanding. Breakfasts every day and simple but very good meals four nights a week which include wine and beer. The restaurant manager, Elena, can't do enough to see that you are having a great stay, the same for the front desk staff. Dogs are not just tolerated, they are accepted and made welcome. There are multiple guests with dogs. The swimming pool is lightly used, but very adequate. The lobby with dual fireplaces and comfortable lounge chairs is a wonderful place to sit and read or socialize with other guests or visitors. One possible improvement: better choice of TV channels for the good flat screen TV. Prices, especially for longer stays, are highly competitive. The location is central and very convenient to Burlington shopping and restaurants.

I stay here about 9 nights a year. The concept and the property is amazing. The downside is that our trip is always affected by inconsistencies with service and policies. This can only be blamed on poor management. One example is the complimentary breakfast. The check in staff says it it stops at 9:30 on weekdays. The kitchen team says its 9:00AM. Consequently, entire families don't get breakfast. I thought it might have been an isolated incident when it happened last year but it happened again this week. On another occasion, we booked with friends and very one had a significantly different room rate and pet fee. No one had AAA membership or anything else to explain the difference. The pet friendly rooms are falling into a state of disrepair and the art of customer service is apparently lost. We are in the customer service field so we always bring each issue up to the hotel's management so it can be addressed. Each results in an epic fail. As a result, we're looking for a new hotel for our annual trips. It's truly a shame.

Having just returned from my second stay at the Green Mountain Suites, I wanted add to the positive reviews that helped me choose this hotel. The lobby feels like a cozy, ski lodge in the mountains. The suites are roomy, well kept and very comfortable. The exercise and pool rooms are very clean and the staff is accommodating. I found on both stays that I would have been happier if the rooms were a little cleaner ( toothpaste residue still on the bathroom counter when we arrived). During the week, they offer a beer and wine reception in the lobby that could easily be dinner. The menu is posted on the refrigerator in each room. One thing to be aware of is that this is a pet friendly hotel. During my first stay, the hotel was full of dogs (all leashed and well behaved). They do offer pet-free rooms and I never saw pets in the lobby or breakfast area. We found the other guests to be friendly and polite. Overall, both trips were very pleasant experiences. This is my new favorite hotel in the Burlington area.
