“Good value for short stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 February 2012

We stayed there for an overnight. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Good internet connection. The only negative point, the temperature in the room, it was very hot and no air conditioned in that period of the year, so they told us to open the window. This hotel is only few minutes drive from the airport and they have a complimentary shuttle that runs 24hrs a day. We catch it at 4:30 am, the driver was very helpful with our bags.

“Starting to slip.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 January 2012

I have stayed at this hotel several times but it seems to be getting dated. The last time it seemed to have an odd smell in the corridors and just didn't seem as clean as it has in the past. The menu in the restaurant is not very comprehensive and I ended up crossing the street and having dinner there instead. Most Holiday Inns give their Priority Club Members a drink or something equivalent, the drink ticket here was only good for a glass of the house wine, or a draft beer. The room was clean, TV worked and it was quiet, so there are some positives. My next trip will probably have me staying across the street.

“Good hotel - no complaints”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 January 2012

I was a bit skeptical about staying at this hotel with some of the reviews, but I do trust the Holiday Inn name. Honestly it was a good experience. Service at front desk was great, room was clean, quiet and had no problems with the Wifi. No parking problems and close to the freeway and airport. it was a nice stay.

Room Tip: I always ask for a top floor to avoid people walking above me. I also asked for a room, not facing...

“Great place to stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 December 2011

Convenient to everything in the area, including close to the airport (2 miles), friendly helpful staff, good food at a reasonable price, friendly atmosphere in the bar area. This is a well maintained and recently renovated older hotel in good shape.

Room Tip: I had an outside corner room, and recommend it. It was very quiet.

“First Three Nights of my Northeast Trip”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 November 2011

My Job requires me to travel to the Northeast once a year and Visit Maine to VA, Why they chose to do so in the winter is beyond me but I chose to visit Vermont first, as where it may the most beautiful state in the Lower 48 the weather is terrible. Burlington is a great city, very unique and charming. I love to visit and luckliy there is a great Holiday Inn in the heart of it.

This is your classic Holiday Inn, from buliding structure to food and I love it. You can tell it was bulit a while back and seems very family oriented but it works for me. Rooms are large and clean, not much for view besides a closed pool( Outdoor pool in New England Really?). Rooms smelled ok and were bug free. Carpets seemed a little warn but this is me nit picking,

As with 99% of Holiday Inn the staff was outstanding which sets this chain apart from all the others. Nice, Informative and accomdating, Could asked for some more attentive hosts. Food was ok, bar was fine. Breakfast was above average. Would stay here again maybe come back in the summer to see the pool.

Local Area tip: Go visit Magic Hat Brewery for Great beer.
