It has been a long time since I stayed in a place that I will call the Franchise company and tell them this hotel damages their brand. Choice needs to not sell this hotel it is dirty, not maintained and not acceptable from the brand perspective which is to be clean, affordable and a great value. DO NOT STAY HERE

I booked this through Expedia and wasn't expecting much. It was less expensive than many hotels in the area, Burlington was completely booked and I just needed a place to stay for one night. The pictures online looked alright so I thought "How bad can it be?" . It was so bad that we refused to stay the night! That is a first for us. The photos posted are not of the "hotel" rooms but, I assume, the suites. There is no resemblance to what I was I given. There are several buildings placed on slabs around the parking lot that look as if they were built as temporary structures many years ago. They are now in a terrible state of disrepair; rotting, dirty and foul smelling. The hotel refused to refund my credit card even though they have clearly misrepresented themselves. I was told that these were "motel" rooms and that is what you get when book a "motel". Expedia has not responded to my repeated phone calls or emails and were not at all helpful in finding other accommodations for that evening. Not an experience I would wish on anyone.

I have stayed in budget rooms all over the world and have a lot of tolerance for things not to be perfect or even good. But staying here combined many negatives-disrepair, not great customer service, smell, and cost not matching. First we wanted a handicap accessible room and were given a room that I was told had railings for the toilet. Three people were involved in checking that the room was what I needed. Got to the room and there were no handles. Went to tell them this and received no apology for sending me to the room in error. Then asked to be switched to a regular room and paid $10 for a refrigerator. The refrigeratgor brought to the room was so strong with bleach that it could not be used. Thankfully they did give a refund for it. The room we stayed in (122) had the cover to the air conditioner on the floor and duct tape on the ac apparently to hold the cover. The threshold to the room was creaky, the tiles in the bathroom were cracked and there was a sinking in front of the toilet making it feel like you were going to fall through the floor. The walls were scratched up and there was really no part of the room that did not show extreme wear. There was a slight dip from the bathroom into the room which was a trip hazard. Of course the room had the classic moldy smell of an old hotel room. The only thing I can say is that the beds were comfortable. Would not stay here again.

The place is dirty and run down. We actually refused to stay after being shown two rooms that were in poor repair and smelled. They refused to refund our money. Turned the matter over to Visa Fraud Dept.
