I booked a night in this motel after reading the reviews. We paid $110 a night for a king. The girl behind the desk was friendly enough but just could not offer any information about places to eat, gift shops etc. She just seemed to be going through the motions. She pointed to the restaurant next door when we asked for a recommendation. She sent me to the Mobil station down the street for souveniers (I wanted to bring something to a friend that lived there in his youth).
We were very disappointed to find out upon check out that people who came in off the street paid $79 a night! It sure didn't pay to make a reservation and give them my credit card in advance.
No continental breakfast, although coffee and tea are offered most of the day. The room was fairly clean and the bed was comfortable.
