The hotel was very comfortable, clean, friendly, good breakfast, great games room. overall we had a great stay.
It's a bit far from the mountain for my liking ( about 20 min to Burke- closest ski hill)
Also, pool was too warm for my liking and their hot tub too cold, sauna should have been also warmer, but we couldn't figure out way to make it warmer. They also have liitle gym which is nice.

Our room was enormous and well equipped including a coffee maker, refrigerator and microwave. This hotel is situated just outside St Johnsbury, so you need to drive to get to a restaurant as there is not one on site. The lobby sold microwave meals, so after driving all day we settled for this option. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The large bed was comfortable and we had a good nights sleep. Breakfast facilities were a bit basic and it was all a bit frenetic. We would be happy to use this hotel again as a stopover hotel, which is basically what Comfort Inns set out to be.

Stayed at this Comfort Inn twice this year. Both times, the staff were attentive, the property was clean, and the room was comfortable. It's a higher-end Comfort Inn and a rare gem as far as the brand goes. Breakfast was good, but I do hope the property can find some ways to make it stand out from the standard Comfort Inn fare. Rates are a bit high, even with a special organization discount, but there aren't many other national brands in the area, so supply and demand wins for them. I'll definitely keep this property in mind when I'm back in the area.

Approaching in fading light you see a huge parking lot with an enormous piece of flamboyantly shaped architecture behind it. When you get inside apart from a reception area there seemed to be no facilities whatsoever. You'd expect a place that size to have a bar, a full-service restaurant, but nothing. The room was fine-no surprises, good or bad.

We sat in reception to check out the local restaurants but were constantly interrupted by kids roaring through reception or taking whooping rides on the baggage trollies, Neither parents nor staff seemed inclined to do anything, The recommendations for local quality dining we followed up- we ate in one which was very poor indeed and all i can say is that the other looked worse. The trucks in the carpark don't help.

Given all this I cannot inderstand how this hotel could acculmulate so many positive ratings.

On top of which St Johnsbury is a remarkably nondescript town.
