“burn this business down”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 January 2012

we stayed at this hotel and were ashamed to tell people where we were. The manager allows drug dealers to stay there they pay him extra money and he turns the other cheek. we were almost shot while sitting at the broken table that was in our room.. i have been in every room in that hotel and there is something wrong in every room. most rooms have broken windows there is no heat they supply space heaters but the electricity is not up to code or date and cannot handle the power they require. the boiler needs to be replaced. I was told the owner is a millionare they prefer to allow people that are on welfare to stay there because he charges them more to stay STEALING FROM THE GOVERNMENT they do not speak or understand english that well. This place should be condemned and the owner should be forced to live in such conditions

Room Tip: choose a room at a different hotel

“Avoid at all costs”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 February 2011

The room I was given had a gap between the wall and the foundation, so you could see to the outside. The warmest the room could get was 55F. I asked for another room and they instead put in a space heater. The building should be condemned. The beds were not made. Do not stay here.

“Stay away”

We made a reservation for Christmas weekend for a 4 night stay. we got in around midnight and got our key. we went in the room and it was freezing. the bathroom was dirty - the shower was dirty and there was gross build up of something around it and it wasnt clean. there were no towels except one or 2 hand towels which were hanging on the door and were dirty - we later determined they'd been used. the blanket had a cigarette burn on it and neither bed had a top sheet so we had to sleep with the dirty blanket right on top of us. the pillowcase also had hair on it which wasn't ours we discovered the next day. when we got up, despite having raised the heat the room was still freezing. we went into the office to see about their cancellation policy, describing out issues, and they offered us another room and said they'd had heating problems and offered us a space heater. the other room was freezing and while it had two sheets on each bed, the bathroom was equally as gross and the room was freezing. when we told them we didn't want it, they readily agreed to refund our money fully for the next 3 nights - they must know they are not running a quality establishment.
additionally, when we found a new hotel and mentioned our nightmare from the travel inn, they told us we weren't the first and others had come to them with the same issues.
don't stay here!!

“Don' go there”

The room is dark and dingy. The light switch did not work. There were no wash cloths or face towels. There was no heat so we were given a space heater.
The second night the room was dark with no power. The breakers went off and the whole lower floors lost power . The manager opened the utility closet so we could go in on turn the breaker on ourselves . The power went off three more times. Don't ever come here.

“Like staying at a CRIME SCENE”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 February 2009

Our door was split in two like it had been kicked in. The floors were dirty. Dead bugs on the floor, live bugs crawling and flying around. Blood, dirt and grime on the bedding. Cigarette burn holes in the comforter. Bathroom was disgustingly dirty. The towels had yellow and brown stains. Worst place I have ever stayed. Would not give us our money back. When we went to the front desk for some ice, they looked at us as if were asking for gold. They finally took our ice bucket and filled it with their ice cube trays from their freezer. Weird dirty place that I would avoid at all cost.
