“A Pleasant Stay in Upper Vermont”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 July 2011

My wife and I recently capped the ends of a Canadian stay at the Richmond Victorian Inn, just outside of Burlington, Vt. We were flying in and out of Burlington and needed a place to stay for each night at the beginning and end of the trip. The owners were nice enough to allow our Saturday night when we arrived and the following Friday when we were departing to count as the 2 night weekend minimum stay. The inn is quite picturesque, the rooms are comfortable, the breakfasts great and the owners are just plain wonderful people. Burlington is a great place to vacation and Richmond is only about 10 miles from downtown. We were also lucky to discover the Sonoma Station restaurant in Richmond which is a spectacular place to dine.

Room Tip: Comfortable guest rooms on both the 1st and 2nd floors.

“Very Enjoyable”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 September 2010

We're glad we stayed there. Very clean and comfortable. Breakfasts were outstanding. Within easy walking distance to several restaurants. We'd stay there again without hesitation.

“Beautiful B&B and great location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 September 2010

Spent two great nights at the Richmond Victorian Inn. Frank and Joyce were great hosts. Breakfasts were wonderful and more than a meal. Room was comfortable and nice decor. (Just a note - not a complaint - that the suite with the hot tub is just off of the dining room and could be a little noisy if you're a late sleeper). Great location with easy access to Burlington and Stowe. Nice common area with games or just plenty of room to sit and relax.

“Best breakfasts we've ever had at a B & B”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 January 2010

Frank and his family could not have been more hospitable. The coupons he gave us saved money for the skiers in the crowd, who headed in a different direction each day to try out different slopes, all within easy reach of the inn. Ski rental and repair is just a block away. Myself, the non-skier, was made to feel at home, reading in the front living room. Burlington is just a short drive and is full of shops and restaurants, though Richmond has great restaurants as well. New Year's eve we enjoyed the Richmond Celtic Festival, which started with a lovely performance by Hilary, the innkeepers' daughter. We''ll be able to say we knew her when!

“A Lovely Stay, A Delightful InnKeeper”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 October 2009

This B&B is quite cozy, a real gem! Frank, the innkeeper, was very hospitable, accommodating our very late arrival (around 10:00 pm) without a reservation. Our suite was nicely furnished, with very comfortable beds and direct access to our contemporary bathroom (not shared). In the morning, it was nice/quiet & we had plenty of time to wake up and get ready for the day. Once downstairs, we were treated to a full breakfast with several courses, including homemade muffins, a gourmet omelet, fresh juice and fruits and more. All in all, a marvelous stay & I look forward to a return visit when I'm back to the area.
