We spent a night at this motel after a day of skiing in New Hampshire. We were visiting some friends in Woodstock that night and wanted to stay nearby. This motel was perfect. The rates were great for the area. The room was small and had only the basic necessities (ie. no fridge), but it was clean and the bed was really comfortable. The temps were below zero and when we entered the room, it was really warm. There's nothing worse than going into a cold hotel room. We were greeted by friendly staff and they even gave us a great suggestion for breakfast just down the road. I will be staying here again next time I'm in the area.
The place only has a couple downsides. There is an indoor pool, but you have to go outside to get to it. You also can't get to the office without going outside. There's no real general parking area near the lobby, so you have to park in front of other rooms or in the drop off area. All the rooms have doors to the outside. These were minor issues for us (though it would have been nice to have an indoor hallway to the pool with temps being what they were, as such, we didn't use the pool).
But, as I said, it's a great value. It includes a continental breakfast, which we were late for. They had eggs and waffles as well as the usual stuff. It was more than just a continental breakfast, which was nice (had we gotten up earlier, we probably would've eaten there).
