We were disappointed in the Salt Ash Inn. We found the property poorly maintained on the outside. Our room was not clean and decorated with garage sale type furniture.

A positive comment was the person in charge was pleasant and helpful.

We loved the Salt Ash Inn. Al was the best. It is a very relaxing environment. Played volleyball outside, some of our family swam in the pool. Took lots of photos in the garden area out back. Our rooms were great. We stayed in the modern part and our rooms were extremely clean and our bathrooms were oversized and great. We really enjoyed our stay and would go back again for sure. Great value for price!!

When I saw a room listed with a fireplace for less than $150 and no minimun stay... I didn't even look at the list of other rooms at the inn! We stayed in the older part of the in, very rustic - it had full timber beams in the ceiling! It was extremely clean and cozy. Bed was comfy too.
I think we were there on a slow weekend, I was kind of hoping the huge circular fireplace in the bar would be on. The owner Al offered to get it going, but we were tired and said not to trouble himself, we'll sit in front of the one in our room.
We sat and talked with Al for a bit, he was very friendly.
Breakfast was simple, but did the job. Made to order eggs and hashbrowns, cereals, juice and coffee.
Would definitly stay there again.

We stayed in the Carriage House. The room was lovely, big and the gas fireplace was cozy. As we pulled into the parking lot, the new owner greeted us and told us the kitchen was out and that he could not serve food. Also, he did not open the bar for us. We were dissappointed to have to leave the Inn for dinner and cocktails after a long day of skiing. The owner did bring us a pitcher of beer and paid for breakfast sandwiches at the country store down the road. There is no hot tub. Location is convenient to both Okemo and Killington. Again, the room in the Carriage House was nice, but call before you book to confirm whether or not the kitchen and bar will be open.
