“Staff were fantastic!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 February 2012

I stayed at this lodge with my ski club (about 40 people) during the weekend of Feb. 11-13, 2012. I had suffered a ski accident the day before, and arrived on crutches with my husband.
I stayed in the lodge the entire weekend and spent most of my time in the living common area with my leg propped up (torn ligaments in my ankle). The staff was terrific! They pampered me and brought me blankets, pillows, tea, water and spent time talking to me. The food was good too! They really made me feel comfortable and tried to lessen the trauma of my accident. I did not want to go home! Thank you!

“Don't Expect Much”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 December 2011

We stayed at the Bromley Sun Lodge during Thanksgiving weekend so we could get away from the crowds on Black Friday. The cost? Even though it wasn't ski season yet, it cost us more than $200 a night. The heater was extremely weak, so we had to ask for a space heater. The style of the room was characteristic of a motel, not a $200 a night lodge. There was a refrigerator and freezer available, so at least we could bring and enjoy Ben & Jerry's ice cream. The TV got very few channels. If you need something from the front desk, you'll have to go down yourself: the person there will be too busy talking with co-workers to answer the phone. Complimentary Wi-Fi won't work for older computers due to the higher level of the security key. Smokers, very likely some of the hotel workers, are always hanging around the main entrance. When the day housekeeper came in, the room wasn't cleaned: the only thing the housekeeper did was turn the lights off. The complimentary breakfast is of average fare, but their waffles are definitely above average. Unless you really love waffles, it definitely isn't worth staying at this lodge, especially if you're not here to ski.

“Great family value in Peru, VT”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 November 2011

We stayed at the Bromley Sun Lodge over Thanksgiving 2011. This is not the Four Seasons, but of course it doesn't have a Four Seasons price, either. What it does have going for it is that it is clean, the beds and plumbing are fine, the breakfast is nice and the staff is great. There is a heated indoor pool which the boys loved playing in (and a staff member came by to make sure we were happy with how warm it was), a nice fireplace with sofas around it that my wife and I relaxed in. Our room did have an alarm clock etc., so perhaps the other reviews are a bit out of date. The staff was wonderful, accommodated special requests (extra blanket, a drink in the lobby etc.) quickly and cheerfully. We travel to Peru every year (my brother and his family live there), so we have stayed in most of the places around. Some of them are really nice and charming, but they are all pricey, and mostly not nearly as kid-friendly as the Bromley Sun Lodge. We will be back.

Room Tip: We asked for a king sized bed, and it was a good bed.

“Awesome and family friendly”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 November 2011

Can't beat the location and the service. I felt right at home with the fireplace and bigscreen TV... kids could have fun and I didn't feel like I had to watch them every second..Family board games available, swimming and beds where very comfortable...It is decorated like a Lodge because it is a lodge... no need to update it is a perfect Mountain Resort..Rooms were very clean... loved it......

Room Tip: Ask for a back room if you are sensitive to noise.....

“Great stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 October 2011

Recently stayed at the resort.Even though it was off season, the service was great, and the location was fantastic.
This isn't a new resort and shows its age in some areas, but overall its well worth the money and should cover any needs you could ask for.
The staff is incredible.
