We stayed in one of the luxury suites at the Four Columns Inn Saturday night - WOW! It is definitely one of the best rooms I have ever stayed in! Someone wrote in a review that Room #4 is the best in Vermont - they were correct! From the moment we arrived at the Inn we knew it would be a wonderful time. The inn keeper's were extremely friendly and made us feel welcomed. Dinner was absolutely delicious but a little pricey. Breakfast was equally as good, but comes with your stay. We highly recommend the Inn for a long weekend or even just a night - you will be glad you did!

We have stayed at the Four Columns several times over the past 15 years.

The current owners are incredibly accommodating and the rooms are exceptionally clean and comfortable, and charmingly eclectic. They have done a lovely job of updating the Inn while retaining the classic charm and tradition. The in-room gas fireplaces are a terrific feature, and you can use them most months in Vermont!

We had an opportunity to dine with a large party at the restaurant on our most recent visit, and the service and food were very good.

My wife and I stayed at the Four Columns Inn & Restaurant on two different occasions in 2011--August & November (for my birthday). Each time the experience was very special--clean & beautiful rooms, exquisite grounds, tremendously helpful staff and outstanding food. It's close to Brattleboro, VT and convenient to many other attractions and restaurants. From making a reservation, to checkout, the service was truly special. The dining room is beautiful and the included breakfast wonderful. I highly recommend this inn and plan to go back again soon.

thought the decor was a bit dated, although the room was very comfortable and clean. The food had very good reviews but we did find it rather expensive. The breakfasts were, however, amazing and we loved them. It was a great location, and the hosts were extremely helpful.
